What this column contains
The country name as the address publishes it.
Where the value comes from
Split out of the formatted address, and used as the dialling context that turns the published phone number into E.164.
Example value
Türkiye
What people use it for
- 01Split a multi-country export into per-market campaigns with the right language.
- 02Apply the outreach rules that apply in that market before anything is sent.
- 03Sanity-check a run that crossed a border unintentionally.
- 04Group by country for reporting and for calling-window planning.
What it will not tell you
The name follows the listing's own locale, so the same country can appear under more than one name across a large export. Normalise to ISO codes before joining.
Questions about this field
- Why does country matter for phone numbers?
- Because E.164 normalisation needs a dialling context. Without a known country the E.164 column is left empty rather than guessed.
- Do you output ISO country codes?
- No, the published name is kept. Mapping to ISO is a one-line lookup on your side and avoids the export inventing a code the listing never carried.
