What this column contains
The display phone number from the listing, spaces, parentheses and all. The normalised machine-readable version lives in the separate E.164 column.
Where the value comes from
Read from the listing's contact block. Only the primary number is taken; businesses that publish several usually list the rest on their own site.
Example value
(0212) 249 96 80
What people use it for
- 01Hand a rep a number they can read aloud without reformatting it.
- 02Filter to listings that publish a phone number at all — a strong signal the listing is actively maintained.
- 03Print a call sheet where local formatting matters more than machine parsing.
- 04Cross-check against a CRM whose numbers were entered by hand in local format.
What it will not tell you
This is the number the owner chose to publish, which in franchised categories is often a central switchboard rather than the branch.
Questions about this field
- Should I dial from this column or from the E.164 one?
- Dial from E.164 in any automated system. This column is for humans and for matching against records that were typed in by hand.
- Do you validate that the number is live?
- No. Extraction reports what the listing publishes; it never places a call to test it.
