Contact field
Domain
The bare hostname pulled out of the website URL, which is the form you need for grouping, matching and enrichment lookups.
- Column name
- domain
- Group
- Contact
- Availability
- Every plan, free included
What this column contains
The registrable hostname with the protocol and path stripped. Multiple branches of one company collapse to the same value here.
Where the value comes from
Derived from the website URL rather than collected separately, so it is always consistent with it.
Example value
gulluoglu.com
What people use it for
- 01Group branches of the same company into one account before assigning an owner.
- 02Join against tech-stack, traffic or firmographic datasets, which are almost all keyed by domain.
- 03Suppress existing customers and current opportunities in one pass.
- 04Detect shared agency-built sites across many listings on one domain.
What it will not tell you
Sharing a domain implies shared ownership, not a shared decision maker. Franchise networks often put every branch on one site while budgets stay local.
Questions about this field
- Is www included?
- No. The hostname is normalised so that two rows for the same company match each other.
- Can I use domain as a dedup key?
- For company-level dedup, yes. For location-level work use Place ID, since every branch shares the domain.
This is one of 41 columns on every row, on every plan. See the full field reference or check pricing.
