What this column contains
Day-by-day hours in a compact string. Days the business is closed are marked rather than omitted.
Where the value comes from
Read from the listing's published hours. When the raw string is unavailable it is rebuilt from the structured per-day hours, which is why the format stays consistent across rows.
Example value
Mon: 08:00-22:00, Tue: 08:00-22:00, Wed: Closed, Thu: 08:00-22:00
What people use it for
- 01Time calls to opening hours instead of burning dials on closed businesses.
- 02Filter to businesses open at the weekend, or open late, when that defines your market.
- 03Spot listings with no hours published — a completeness gap and a pitch.
- 04Plan a field route that does not arrive during the afternoon closure.
What it will not tell you
Published hours drift from reality, especially around holidays. Special hours and temporary closures are not broken out into their own column.
Questions about this field
- Are hours in local time?
- Yes, exactly as the listing publishes them. No timezone conversion is applied, since the listing's own timezone is what a visitor experiences.
- What if no hours are published?
- The cell is empty. That is common on unclaimed listings and is worth treating as a maintenance signal.
