Business name
The business name exactly as it appears on the Google Maps listing, kept verbatim so it still matches when you reconcile against your CRM.

What this column contains
The display name on the listing, including any suffix the owner added — legal form, branch name or district. It is never truncated, title-cased or otherwise tidied up.
Where the value comes from
Read straight off the listing. Leading and trailing whitespace is stripped and repeated inner spaces collapse to one; nothing else is touched, because the exact string is what a fuzzy match against your existing accounts depends on.
Example value
Karaköy Güllüoğlu Baklava
What people use it for
- 01Deduplicate against accounts you already own before a list reaches a rep.
- 02Personalise the first line of an email without an extra enrichment step.
- 03Spot chains and franchises — a repeated stem across many rows is usually one buying centre, not fifty.
- 04Feed a name plus city pair into a search to recover a listing you want to re-check by hand.
What it will not tell you
Owners write these fields themselves, so keyword stuffing is common in competitive categories. A name is a label, not a verified trade register entry.
Questions about this field
- Is the business name unique?
- No. Branches of the same chain share a name, and unrelated businesses reuse common words. Deduplicate on Place ID instead — that is the identifier Google guarantees is unique.
- Do you translate or transliterate names?
- Never. The name arrives in the script the owner published it in, so Turkish, Greek or Cyrillic characters survive the export intact.
